Dr. Hecht is a licensed clinical psychologist and the owner of Resolve Psychological Services in Rosslyn in Arlington, VA. Dr. Hecht is dedicated to providing the highest level of care to the people she serves. Dr. Hecht brings a warm approach to clinical care, providing a safe environment for growth and healing. 

Dr. Hecht is a true generalist. She is a therapist trained to treat a range of issues for people of all ages; among these are anxiety, OCD, panic disorder, depression, trauma, PTSD, eating disorders, relationship issues, couples distress, grief, LGBTQQIAAP concerns, divorce, professional stressors, and identity concerns.

Another special area of interest for Dr. Hecht is in the treatment of relationship issues. Dr. Hecht can help single people who are having difficulty sustaining relationships as well as couples stuck in dysfunctional relationship patterns. Dr. Hecht is a Certified Gottman couples therapist and utilizes Emotionally-Focused Couples Therapy to increase emotional intimacy and connectivity for couples. 

Dr. Hecht also specializes in the treatment of children. Dr. Hecht takes a family oriented approach to helping your child overcome childhood depression, anxiety, and defiance. Dr. Hecht offers Trauma-Focused CBT for children who have experienced traumatic events, and utilizes Play Therapy to treat young people.  

Dr. Hecht brings an evidence-based, integrated approach to her work, using Cognitive-Behavioral, Psychodynamic, and Family Systems techniques. Dr. Hecht is a licensed clinical psychologist, with a doctorate in clinical psychology (Psy.D.) from the American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University in Washington, DC.
